Regents leery of plan to drop SAT test at UC. College Board acts to change SAT I test. These articles from the SF Chronicle detail the possibility that the UC university system may abandon the SAT I test. Seems to me that both the UC and the College Board are about to let the poor-performing high schools dictate how hard college entrance exams should be, rather than the colleges dictating how hard high school students need to study.
Think horse owners should be fined $5,000 for riding them in public parks without certifying that the horse has eaten only “Weed Free Feed”? Please tell your representatives (both state and U.S.) to stop this nonsensical waste of money.
