USGS Open House

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is holding an open house this weekend--a great opportunity for Bay Area residents to discover what this group of scientists does to help us better understand the structure and mechanics of the Earth.

I've been to one of the USGS Open Houses in the past, and found the exhibits and the chance to talk with their scientists utterly fascinating and well worth the trip to Menlo Park (just a short ways from U.S. 101).

The event continues on Sunday, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

To get driving directions, please view the Google Map of the USGS office location and then click on Directions--to here and type in your address--Google will then draw a map and give you turn-by-turn directions.
